#162.0 You always forget how hectic moving house is until you have to

Unfortunately, we’ll be leaving our wonderful share house this week and the last month or so has been nothing short of a whirlwind.

We’ve been here 3 years now and I’ve become totally oblivious to how much materialistic items you accumulate in a large house that has space.

This is essentially Parkinson’s law at work however instead of time being filled to the amount allocated, it’s instead space.

Furthermore, the voids of space will eventually be filled the more you have available.

You just don’t realise how much stuff you have until you have to transport it all to another location.

Completely and utterly mind blowing how much is involved in moving house.

It’s not until you actually start the nitty gritty that you come to terms with the requirements again.

Luckily, I’ve had some solid willpower to just throw in the trash many insignificant items and gratefully also scored some cash by selling some more valuable possessions no longer being used.
