That satisfaction of vacuuming the floor of your house.
We live close to the beach, something I am indescribably grateful for.
But, this is a big but.
It’s irritating having the sand and dirt through the house.
Enter the vacuum.
After a 30 minute stint of safely and intricately navigating furniture, chairs, shoes, bags and floor mats, the floor becomes rid of the foreign little objects.
Watching the grains disappear before your eyes it’s something so addicting although before starting was definitely annoying to get going.
You have to push through the avoidance and just get it done.
It’s like anything of course, we avoid the mundane and the things that don’t provide immediate satisfaction.
Sucking up the last square metre and using the retractable electrical lead winder (whatever you want to call it), definitely bring a strong joy of accomplishment.
It’s a little win, but a win nonetheless.
Only a couple of hours before the tiles are a plenty with grains of doom once again.
