#69.0 Quality over Quantity – books

Ever heard someone say “I’ve read 1,000 books this year”?

Or something along those lines…

What that’s really saying is I’ve passively consumed the content of those 1,000 books but I haven’t learnt a single thing.

Quantity over quality has occurred.

What we should be seeking is the opposite.

Quality, over quantity.

After consuming many hours of authors interviews and comments, it is a recurring phenomenon that they continue to preach the same principles over and over again.

Read the best 100 books and then reread them all.

And when you’ve finished reading through them all twice, go again.

The concepts are timeless.

They are ”perennial“.

They are – lasting or existing for a long or apparently infinite time; enduring or continually recurring.

Seek to get quality in everything you do, take things slow, digest the information and when you’re clear on the key concepts, then and only then, move to the next.

Where else can this be applied?
