#98.0 The five F’s (family, friends, financial, fitness, and fun)

Family

Friends

Financial

Fitness

Fun

I’ve come to understand over my time to try and keep them all in balance.

It’s a difficult juggling act but can be achieved with the right mindset.

Each F word above represents an aspect of one’s life that you must give attention and strong awareness to in order for smooth sailing through this journey we call life.

Family – spending enough time with those who are close to you and giving them a chance to check in.

Friends – again spending enough time with these people as they can easily drift afar and before you know it, you look around and none of them are to be seen.

Financial – this is a broad aspect but it involves everything from your career, your income, your spending / expenses all the way to your investments and how you manage your personal assets. It’s important to not leave the management of this item “for tomorrow or another day”. It’s important to do now.

Fitness – one that gets neglected all too often. I’ll go for that run tomorrow, I’ll start the diet on Monday. Start now and take responsibility for your health, giving it the importance it deserves.

Fun – last but not least. Get a solid grip on the above 4 and don’t forget to enjoy yourself. We’ve been given a chance to each do whatever we want with our lives so live a damn good one.

Don’t settle for second best.

Remember, we aren’t perfect and a exactly balanced ratio doesn’t exist, though you can aim for it.

It may take time, you just need to be patient with each one and practice your craft.
