#196 Forecasting

When it comes to the weather, technology has come a long way in predicting the future.

5 days from now I can literally use a basic google search and determine pretty accurately what the weather will be like then.

A great website I use particularly for wind, tide and swell prediction is Seabreeze (link below).

The reason I favour this website over many others is the barrier of entry is low, it’s free, it uses reliable data sources like the bureau of methodology (BOM) and ultimately the visuals are simple, yet extremely effective.

See an example below, along with the link.

For further explanations on how to use and interpret the weather maps and diagrams, Seabreeze has a plethora of information available on separate pages within the website.

Just simply follow the links.
