#34.0 Confidence vs The Ego

What’s the difference between being up yourself and being confident?

One you have faith in your capability and you believe you can actively perform to the requirements and succeed.

The other overrules your very thought patterns and amplifies your narcissistic tendencies that tell you that you’re better than everyone else at X, Y or Z.

Confidence is the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something.

The ego is a person’s sense of self-esteem or self-importance.

Don’t get me wrong you need to have self-esteem and you also need to understand you self-importance, otherwise you allow yourself to go into ruin.

When you think you are more important than someone else, you are comparing yourself to their current stature.

You’re self-centred thoughts are a signalling effect.

Whereas if you are confident, you radiate humility and character.

Two things that unfortunately society has ceased to respect as acceptable traits.
