#64.0 Freshly Mowed Grass, and then…

Your grass on your front lawn is growing out of control.

It’s the middle of summer, the weather conditions are humid and it’s getting thick.

You come home from work and you decide to rip in.

Fuel her up, check the oil and get the catcher on.

The mower is started and humming beautifully.

Back and forth, in square, long sweeping patterns you take endless centimetres of overgrown blades of grass with each step forward.

The satisfaction is becoming more and more apparent.

After a period of time of putting in the work, you are completed.

The catch is emptied and the machinery is washed down meticulously.

But wait, the best bit is yet to come.

You go to sleep that night comfortable and with a strong sense of accomplishment, to hear raindrops commence to pound the roof.

“What indescribable timing”, you think to yourself.

A pouring shower of rain falls with a welcomed grace.

The next morning you wake early and step out onto your yard, to find the glistening of freshly cut grass with a solid soaking through the soil of cool, hydrating water.

Job well done.

Feels good when things fall smoothly into place.
