#110.0 Feel for the water

Whenever you have a small hiatus of a particular activity, it’s noticeable that your groove isn’t there.

That “groove” or “feel” has disappeared.

For people who swim a lot, it is as apparent as the sun rising every morning.

You may still be able to ride a bike, drive a manual car or read a good book quickly but the flow of the task isn’t a smooth and silky.

In saying this though, persisting with any of the above examples long enough, that touch returns like clockwork.

The subconscious mind clicks in and you’re on your way.

The worst is most likely that feeling of coming back to work on the first day of the year after like most companies, enjoy a significant break or closure during the Christmas / New Years period.

It’s like the sleep in your eyes never quite gets wiped away.

However by the middle to end of the first week, the mind and body are back in motion.

There it is, the feel.

Just like swimming in the water everyday, you learn to “feel” the water.

Not resist against it but flow through, and move simply.
