#219 – Resignations open more doors than they close

For many years since graduating university as an engineer, I didn’t have to make many decisions everyday.

What I mean by this, is I wake up commence my day knowing I have structure in my professional job for what my purpose is to do that day.

Long story short, last October I decided to resign from my full time position and embark on journey with my partner overseas.

The 28th of November marked the commencement of this adventure and we’ve lived in Japan ever since.

What I’m getting at now is the fact that I’ve realised I now have so many decisions to make instead of a few.

These decisions have changed from which way should I drive to work this morning and what should I have for lunch to what country should we travel to next etc.

We have now come to the realisation that time is the thing making things difficult.

There are so many places to see, and people to meet but not enough time to do it all.

Mentally I keep telling myself I am running out of time so damn quickly.
